Kataklysm is great! For that matter, Nuclear Blast Europe has probably some of the best metal out there. Right up there with Metal Blade Records.

I used to be a music director for a radio station for a couple years, and I got real cozy with Metal Blade and Nuclear Blast. Sadly, I don't get the samplers anymore.

89.5FM WSOU out of Seton Hall is a great metal station, but some of their programming is less than stellar. During the day, it's usually great, once you hit the evening/overnight shifts, it gets really repetitive though. Since I used to block out a 3 hour show weekly, I find it a little weak when things get repetitive, but that's just me. Check out their live stream for yourself though, you might like it!

Major Womps right there. Reminds me I need to get it kicking on my desktop again. I started an install, didn't like it, and have been meaning to re-install...

I hope for the love of all things metal, it's Ubuntu Satanic Edition!

Dont even get me started on Unity. Gnome is a nice classic, but I just install Ubuntu as a base for the hardware support, then I crack away at it with XFCE, new launchers, etc etc. My system isnt all that linux friendly, so I have to make it easy to troubleshoot. Mint is really nice though, I have it on a couple machines. For simplicity though, ChromeOS is amazing. I wish Google would just offer a download already...and work on Skype support. Oh well.

Rock on!

I work in a computer shop, the nerd is strong in me. I've tried many many operating systems, but Im more of a hardware junkie than software. I run Mint, Ubuntu, 7, 8.1, ChromeOS, Android, OS X 10.8.5 and support desktop operating systems as far back as 2000 on various machines. Im super rusty on Server, but need to fix that soon. I build them, but dont really configure the software beyond the base installation. Needless to say, after 2 years, still no failures.

I rock a dual Xeon desktop, and built it for Blu ray video editing. More specifically, as a broadcast major, I refuse to work in SD, especially considering the industry. Since the school machines are poorly taken care of, I built my own, and have everything I could possibly need. Im super meticulous about nearly all of my work...drives my boss crazy sometimes, but no one has ever complained about it (how could they, really).

I need to do that video I keep promising...lots of antique car related stuff around the house, and I need it to keep me busy over break.
